Privacy Policy

1. Personal data we collect
Account and identity information: your name, email address, account status, membership information, and authentication records.
Profile information: your profile photo, bio, neighborhood, interests, occupation, company, social handles, website, service information, and booking links you provide.
Event information: reservations, waitlist status, guest count, ticket tier, attendance, cancellations, refunds, event chats, and event feedback.
Dietary information: allergies, restrictions, preferences, and preparation notes that you voluntarily save for Dinner events.
Social and support information: friend requests, connections, direct messages, support requests and replies, and notification history.
Contact and transaction information: your mailing address and transaction records. If we offer paid features, a payment processor may collect payment card information directly.
Technical information: session cookies, device and browser information, IP address, and security or diagnostic logs.
2. How we use personal data
Provide, secure, and maintain your account and membership.
Process event reservations, guest access, cancellations, and refunds.
Display profile information according to your visibility selections.
Enable connections, messages, event chats, and notifications.
Help authorized event staff prepare Dinner events using saved dietary information.
Respond to Member Success requests and improve our services.
Prevent misuse, enforce our rules, comply with law, and protect members, Peak, and others.
3. Sensitive dietary information
Dietary and allergy information may be considered sensitive data. Providing it is optional. When you choose to save it, you consent to Peak using it for Dinner-event planning and sharing it with authorized Peak staff or event partners who need it to support your request. You may update the information in your profile or request its deletion through Member Success. We do not use dietary information for advertising.
Important: Peak and its event partners cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Contact event staff directly if you have a severe or life-threatening allergy.
4. When we share personal data
Other members, only as needed for member features and consistent with your visibility settings.
Authorized staff and event partners, when needed to operate an event, support accessibility or dietary requests, or address safety concerns.
Service providers that support hosting, databases, authentication, email, storage, communications, analytics, and payments.
Legal or safety recipients when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.
A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable law.
5. Your choices
Update your profile, dietary information, mailing address, and visibility settings in the app.
Manage reservations, communications, and membership details in your account.
Request a copy or deletion of your data from your Profile.
Contact Member Success to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
6. Colorado privacy rights
If you are a Colorado resident and the Colorado Privacy Act applies, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data; access, correct, or delete it; receive a portable copy; and opt out of qualifying sales, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.
Submit a request through Profile → Your data or through Member Success. If you do not have an account, contact Peak through peaksocialco.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may make a qualifying opt-out request on your behalf, subject to verification.
To appeal a decision on a privacy request, reply through Member Success and state “Colorado privacy appeal.” If we deny your appeal, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General.
Peak will never sell member personal data and does not use member personal data for targeted advertising. If Peak is required to recognize an applicable universal opt-out mechanism, we will do so as required by law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including membership administration, event operations, support, accounting and legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Retention periods vary by data type. We may retain a limited record of privacy requests and actions taken. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten or deleted through ordinary retention processes.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No system is completely secure. Keep your sign-in codes private and notify Member Success if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Children
Peak’s services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data to Peak.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or applicable law change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide advance notice of material changes through the app, email, or another regular communication method when required.

This policy explains how Peak Social (“Peak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website, member app, events, and related services.
Peak does not and will not sell member personal data. / We also do not process member personal data for targeted advertising as defined by the Colorado Privacy Act.
